Before he got to the game between the New York Yankees and Cleveland Indians at Progressive Field Wednesday, the guy in the LeBron James Miami Heat jersey was probably feeling pretty good about himself. Saying things to his girlfriend like “This is gonna be great” and “I can’t wait to see their faces.” Moron. All he got was harassed out of the stadium and showered with asshole calls wherever he went. Good thing his lady didn’t wear the Art Modell costume he bought her.
See, Cleveland’s a funny place. It takes them more than three weeks to get over the city’s biggest star dumping them on national television. “Jersey Guy” couldn’t go anywhere in the stadium without being called an asshole. Knowing how understanding women can be, I’m 100 percent sure his girlfriend didn’t nag about him creating the worst night of her life.
