The folks in the DirecTV marketing department are either really impressed with Mikhail Prokhorov, the Russian billionaire owner of the New Jersey Nets, or simply enjoy retreading the eccentric, foreign gazillionaire stereotype. Their latest commercial features a man with an Eastern European accent, enjoying golden grapes while dogs play cards and his miniature giraffe chills on the couch. Opulence, he has it. LeBron James, not so much.
