Punter Hunter Smith got the Washington Redskins on the board against the New York Giants when he ran a fake field goal eight yards for a touchdown. Of course the Redskins still went on to lose the game 23-17, but Hunter Smith gets to add to his career highlight reel.

Hauling ass to score a touchdown would the highlight of an average punter’s career, but it’s just another day for Hunter Smith. The baddest thing he’s ever done on the football field happened when he was still with the Indianapolis Colts and he punted to Deion Sanders.

Primetime looked like an infomercial. Hunter Smith didn’t tackle Deion, he slammed him. That’s bigger than a touchdown in an opening day loss.
