HOUSTON TEXANS OFFENSIVE LINEMEN HATE THE COPS

Getting a ticket sucks. Dealing with the po-po, the time wasted, having to go to court and cough up money, all of it, it’s bullshit.. Especially when the cops set up traffic stings. But however you got the ticket, take it like a man. Don’t go out like Houston Texans offensive lineman Chester Pitts:

At about 5 p.m., an officer saw Pitts make an illegal turn in his 2002 BMW, flagged him over, and told him why he was being stopped. The officer then walks off for a few minutes to finish issuing a citation to another vehicle and observes Pitts leave.

The driving off resulted in the police giving a brief chase, and pulling Pitts over about a mile away. He was arrested, charged with felony evading, and taken to jail. I’m not sure what kind of points felony evading puts on your license, but I’m sure the damage is gonna be a lot worse than a simple illegal turn ticket.. And all of that to avoid 8 hours of traffic school? I don’t think so. I guarantee Chester Pitts was thinking about fellow Texans O-lineman Fred Weary. It was about a year ago that Weary got tasered by the Houston PD during a traffic stop. Fred Weary is currently suing the city of Houston and the officers involved.
