Hofstra Asst. Football Coach Cheap Shots 57-Year-Old Man

We’ve all seen this type of dude before. Whether you’re in a basketball, softball/hardball, or in this case, a flag football league, there’s always the guy that takes it to far. I’m not talking about a spazz like Jim Carrey in The Cable Guy. I’m talking about a guy that can play a little, but acts like he’s one of the greatest to ever lace ‘em up, like the jackass in The Wedding Crashers. If you’re in the Long Island Arena Touch Football League, Kahmal Roy is the guy I’m describing. Roy’s a 27-year-old Hofstra University assistant football coach, and a sore loser cheap shot artist.

A Hofstra assistant coach approached for a traditional handshake at the end of a touch football game instead punched an opponent in the face.

The man who said he was punched, Stephen Malone, 57, said there was the usual trash talk during the game. “I went over to shake his hand,” Malone said. “Everybody’s shaking hands at the end of the game, and then he throws a punch and knocks me out.”

Malone had to be taken to a hospital and treated for a punctured eardrum and fractured bone in his face. Kahmal Roy was taken to jail. At least he made his point. He’ll never have to worry about another 57-year-old trash talking him after beating him in football again.
