Greta Van Susteren Interviews Brett Favre
July 14th, 2008 | by HG |
Brett Favre explains his side of the Favre v. the Green Bay Packers crapstorm in this lengthy interview with Fox News’ Greta Van Susteren. Favre admits that a lot of the drama is on him, and that he understands the Packers position. But he still wants out.
Unfortunately for Brett Favre it looks like Green Bay is gonna stick to their guns and relegate him to backup quarterback some unknown role if he returns. They have to protect the Favre legacy. As Brett pointed out, how does holding a clipboard help his legacy?
It’s jacked up for Aaron Rodgers if Brett Favre is allowed to return and takeover the team. It’s jacked up for the Packers if Brett’s allowed to sign with the Bears or Vikings. The best situation would be (not for Aaron Rodgers), let Favre play HIS LAST SEASON IN GREEN BAY, and then show him the door. The Packers and Brett Favre provide each other with the best chance to win now so they need to work it out.
