Floyd Mayweather and Ricky Hatton throw down in two weeks at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas. It has the potential to be the fight of the year.. Two undefeated fighters, Mayweather’s the WBC welterweight and pound-for-pound champion, while Hatton’s an English fighting machine. Buy this fight on ppv and don’t worry about a Mayweather/De La Hoya type of fight, something Hatton’s style won’t allow.As is the norm, the fighters have been engaging in a war of words on their press circuit. It started with all of the normal I’m gonna whip your ass and you talk too much verbal jabbing.. But Floyd Mayweather decided to up the ante.
The Pretty Boy got the party started with this comment to Ricky Hatton:
“I wish I was in prison with you. I’d make you my bitch.â€
If I’m a millionaire, wishing I was in prison so I could make somebody my bitch wouldn’t be high on my list.. Even if I was scheduled to go 12 rounds with the guy, I wouldn’t hope to be behind bars just to say gotcha… Sticking with the prison theme, Hatton says Mayweather wanted to get OZ close and personal with him:
“What Floyd doesn’t know is that I don’t get insulted. But he was very offensive. He told me he wanted to buttf*** me.”
Bravo Floyd.. You’ve joined Mike Tyson on the shortlist of boxers that want to pleasure punish their opponents sexually. Are these guys pugilists or a pirates? Only in America and only in boxing. I’m glad we don’t have this in other sports.. Can you imagine if Josh Beckett said “Not only will I beat the Yankees.. I’m gonna rape Jeter” ? Yeah, that probably wouldn’t go over so well..
I’ll drop my prediction for the fight when it gets closer, but it shouldn’t be hard to figure out if you’ve been watching boxing lately.

That’s what I thought. Get the facts straight about who threw the first insults (RH). While I wouldn’t have told RH, and I quote, “you a girl, I wish we was locked up together”, I do understand it was Floyds was of telling RH that he is a P*%sy. Why do you need so much time to drop your predictions? LOL FM wins easy.

that’s what you thought about what? i could be wrong but im pretty sure floyd called ricky hatton a nobody before the fight was even signed..secondly calling someone a girl or a pussy isn’t that funny..a professional athlete telling another professional athlete “i want to bf you” is funny. Maybe you should be mad at Floyd cuz if he doesn’t say it, I can’t post it. i’m still trying to figure out which angle you’re really arguing tho..it can’t be the “someone else talks more shit than Floyd” angle..and as far as posting my pick today .. the fight is saturday, it’s a waste to do it now. think about it..youll figure it out.

It is a sad day in America when thug attitude is in style. Real men choose their words more wisely and prudently. Prove your bravado in the ring or on the field….words are cheap and in this case, sleazy, ignorant and a sign of a weak mind. Mayweather may be successful physically but mentally he is a failure. I hope the good guy with the better character, Rick Hatton, wins….he is a far better roll model than Floyd the thug.
