Manny Pacquiao’s ass whooping of Oscar De La Hoya did more than cement Manny as the sport’s pound-for-pound champion; it’s bringing Floyd Mayweather out of retirement.

Janelle Mayweather, the boxer’s cousin, told family members he called her early Sunday morning — moments after Manny Pacquiao’s stirring win over Oscar De La Hoya on Saturday night in Las Vegas — and stated his hopes to fight again and reunite with his father.
“My niece said my son told her he wanted to fight Pacquiao next, and that he wants me to train him for the fight,” Mayweather Sr. said.
It’s not surprising that Floyd wants to fight Manny. They’ll make a ton of money. Floyd Jr. wanting to be trained by Senior caught me off guard. Floyd and his pop parted ways in 2001 and rarely talk. The fact the Mayweather Jr. wants to reconcile shows how dangerous he thinks Pacquiao is.
Pacquiao and trainer Freddie Roach are on the record welcoming a fight with Mayweather and now Floyd’s down, so as Mills Lane would say “Let’s get it on.” Money May and Manny are both fast, but I’d give the nod to Pacquiao if Floyd fights him without any tuneups. Floyd will probably have some ring rust and as Manny showed last Saturday, you don’t wanna get in the ring with him at anything less than 100 percent.

let me enter this conversation as a voice of reason, armed with rational arguments, and not hateful rants.
I must admit, the Pacman’s a great fighter but he’s no match for Floyd Mayweather for the following reasons:
First, it is a mistake to compare the pacman’s performance against osacr with the mayweather’s perofrmance against oscar because the conditions and circumstances surronding the two encounters were completley different and extremely relevant.
People forget that the fight between oscar and mayweather was bascially a handicap match because not only did mayweather move up in weight to fight oscar, he also gave oscar all the advantangeous. For example, oscar would only fight mayweather on the condition that mayweather would not only agree to a smaller boxing ring but smaller reyes gloves as well.
Unlike the pacman’s fight with oscar where oscar came down in weight to fight the pacman in the pacmans natural wieght class–meaning that the pacman was in a better position in his fight with oscar than mayweather.
In fact, roach said right before the fight that he had noticed I.V. marks on oscar arms alerting him to the fact that oscar was suffering from dehydration and had to be rehydrated. based on this information theres no question that pacman beat up on a much weaker oscar–a dehydrated oscar–hell a dehydrated opponent.
in addition, unlike mayweather who fought a confident an undefeated hatton–pacman fought a much psychologically weaker hatton who just came off a devestating knock out by mayeather–the kind of career ending knockout.
So before you beging to arrogantly suggest that the pacman would destroy mayweather, you best take these facts into account–before you possibly lose your money and your credibility.

When you buy a ticket now, you are buying from a broker or scalper. I’m going to the fight and I paid 1000 dollars for a seat. Also, no the movie theaters are picking up the fight in many cities. Mayweather is going to make 8 figures on the fight. In his last two fights, Mayweather made more money than all fighters in his weight class combined after he retired. All I have to say is that styles make fights. Mayweather is a much faster puncher than Manny. Manny throws punches in bunches, which gives many the impression he is very fast. I personally don’t think he is nearly as fast as Mayweather. And at fight time, the speed difference will quickly become apparent as Mayweather sticks his left jab into Manny’s face with ease.
Manny has many flaws, defense, balance, and carelessness to name a few. Mayweather will capitalize on those flaws in the later rounds.
Although I believe Manny could knock Floyd out if he catches him, catching Floyd will be the task at hand. Manny is knocking down all of his opponents in the “welterweight division” with his right hook, which he mostly delivers from the inside and between his opponents gloves. Aside from Oscar, Manny’s left was only effective after his opponent had been hurt with the right hand. Please watch the Cotto fight again.
Therefore, Mayweather’s only worries will be Manny’s relentlessness and his left hand. Given the particular fighting style of Floyd, Manny’s left will not be effective because of where Floyd keeps his right. If Manny knocks down Floyd, it will be with a right hook, not his left. Floyd thinks he’s “The greatest boxer to ever lace up a pair of gloves” which is evidence of his mental illness. No one likes Floyd, except those who are ass holes like him. Regardless, Floyd has no honor at all–not even a little. All he can do is run his mouth like an ass, just like dear old dad does. Is it any wonder that Floyd turned out to be such a douche bag? Manny Pacquiao is such a humble, honorable guy. He does his talking in the ring, unlike Mongoloid Floyd, who runs his yammering skull cave incessantly. Regardless of how well Floyd does, he will never be considered one of the greatest boxers ever, and it’s because he’s such a little piece of shit. He is a very talented fighter, but again, he’s even more of a douche bag, so people will remember him for his ass holiness, not his talent.

Speaking about chickens I know you people have labeled me KFC but you people that do that don’t even really know me. If you did you would know that I am not from Kentucky and I don’t eat KFC because I still have a lot of the money I won from the easy fights I have had. The bottom line is Mayweather refuses to fight Pacman, talk is talk but Mayweathers legacy will always be about a great fighter that ran from another great fighter his entire career. Any real boxing fan knows Bob Arum is a huge part why this fight has not gone down. First, I am white, nor racist and biased. When Floyd was under Bob Arum he wanted to fight Oscar in his prime and arum said not a good time for that. Arum set a fight up after the Judah fight with Floyd and Margarito and guaranteed Floyd 8 million. Floyd said, Make it happen. Then Arum cancelled the negotiations and said he could get Floyd a guaranteed 10 million plus to fight Cotto or Hatton. Floyd said, Do it. Arum then told Floyd he could only guarantee him 6 milliom, maybe 7. This is when Floyd said, screw you and bought out his contrat with top rank for 750,000 and went on his own. He never ducked anyone. Also, Richard Shaefer and Oscar were the first ones that accused Manny of taking PED’S and told Floyd to make him take a test. Floyd never brought this up first. Floyd said if Manny left Arum and went on his own, this fight would have been done with, but Arum wants every advantage in every fight which he gets bc all his opponents want the big payday. Your not going to do that with Floyd so Arum makes it difficult. If a vial of blood is causing this not to go down. Arum/ Pacquiao have something to hide or want nothing to do with Mayweather. I believe it is both. mayweather’s 72 inch reach, slick defense and right counter will have Manny realizing he is in there with Greatness. TAKE THE TEST AND MANNY WILL GET PUNISHED, PERIOD. PEACE !@
