• Money May teams up with Michigan churches for 500 turkey giveaway

Floyd Mayweather jr. is known for making it rain money, punches, and put downs but the holiday season has the retired boxer sprinkling the less fortunate in a different way.
Mayweather made a deal with churches in his hometown of Grand Rapids to give Thanksgiving turkeys to those in need. The turkeys were given away through The Floyd Mayweather Foundation at a local grocery store but Mayweather wasn’t in the building.
From The Grand-Rapids Press MLive.com:
Mayweather’s foundation matched donations from a dozen churches in the area to provide the turkeys. It was the fourth-annual such giveaway in which Mayweather, the Grand Rapids-native boxing champ, has participated.
Mayweather is filming a reality TV show in Las Vegas and couldn’t make the giveaway, but foundation representatives said he was there in spirit.
Floyd’s doing a good deed and it’s too bad he couldn’t be there but there’s somehting I can’t figure out…
Why is Floyd rollin’ to the club in the Phantom and raining 30k on groupies, posers, and wannabes that can afford to go to the club but giving the less fortunate meat? If you asked any one of the people that showed up for the turkeys if they would’ve rather stood in a sweaty nightclub and had $100 bills thrown at them instead of waiting outside in the snow for a free turkey, you know they would say hell yeah.
Before you jump on me and say “What are you doing to help the needy?” I’ll tell you.. Nothing. If they wanna have a turkey dinner so damn bad they should start a blog. They’ll get all the 99 cents turkey pot pies they want.

Two thumbs up for you Floyd for sharing your blessings to less fortunate people. Surely you will be rewarded doubled the things you gave.
