The Netherlands knocked Brazil out of the 2010 FIFA World Cup by a score of 2-1 in a game that saw the Brazilians take an early lead, score an own goal and then fall apart late due to bad defense and over aggressive play. Felipe Melo of Brazil took out his frustrations with just under 20 minutes left in the match when he stomped on the leg of Arjen Robben. The ref hit Melo with a red card and rightfully sent him off.
