The Miami Heat introduced Dwyane Wade, LeBron James and Chris Bosh to the city and world (with James and Bosh sporting their new uniforms) at a welcome party held at the American Airlines Arena Friday night. Wade wore his usual number three while LeBron broke out the new number six jersey and Bosh changed from four to one. The intro lacked a LeBron James opening dance routine and clowning around which is good because Cavs owner Dan Gilbert probably would’ve driven to Miami to take a swing at LeBron.
What the “Yes. We. Did.” or “Three Kings” intro had was all the pomp and circumstance of team that just won it’s third straight championship, but they only signed three players that give them a chance at a ring. The music, the smoke, the cannons and the hype put Miami on notice to deliver in the 2010-11 season.
The American Airlines Arena is Dwyane Wade’s house. He put the only championship banner in the rafters and carried the franchise for years. He now has to share his house with “LeBron James’ Kingdom” and “Bosh’s Pit.” The video below includes the crowd starting a “Beat LA” chant (2:03), D-Wade talks for the first time (3:25), Dwyane Wade saying they’re arguably the three greatest players to play together (3:52), LBJ is introduced to his new kingdom (4:01), Chris Bosh is introduced to his new pit (5:42) and Bosh speaking Spanish (8:40).
After the intros came the shit talking. Dwyane Wade started by saying he feels sorry for whoever has to guard both him and LeBron James. Then the King chimed in with practice is going to be so tough that the games will be easy and that the trio want to win two, three, four, five, six, seven…. rings. Easy fellas. Do you even know who else is going to be on your team?

These three guys are going to dominate everyone else. I think back to back championships
