Do Not Put Chris Webber and Darko Milicic in the Same Sentence

It’s not often that I have to issue a correction but when I’m wrong, I’m wrong. I’m man enough to admit it. I previously said that Chris Webber tying a “Sanford and Son” episode into a new nickname for the Miami Heat was the best part of Wednesday night’s Sacramento Kings-Minnesota Timberwolves summer league game in Las Vegas. I thought that because I turned to the game in the third quarter and didn’t see Webber and Chris Winer interview Wolves GM David Kahn in the first quarter of the game.

Kahn spent the first five minutes of the two-part 10 minute interview on the new culture of the Timberwolves. He was rambling but he didn’t sound like an idiot. He saved that for the second part of the interview when he compared Darko Milicic to Vlade Divac and Chris Webber. C-Webb politely told Kahn not to use his name in the same sentence as Darko. He should have told him to resign immediately.

Skip ahead to 1:41 for the Webber-Kahn back and forth:
