The Detroit Pistons got the NBA’s free agency period started by signing former UConn ballers Ben Gordon and Charlie Villanueva. Detroit takes Ben Gordon away from the Bulls with a five-year $55 million deal, and CV31 left Milwaukee for either $35 or $40 million over five years.
The Pistons need a coach after firing Michael Curry and I’m wondering who’ll they land. Even with the Gordon and Villanueva signings the team isn’t good enough to win a championship, so they have to find a coach that’s content to run in place for a few seasons before being blamed and fired.
