D-WADE CAN NOW BE IN CHARLES BARKLEY’S 5

We’ve all seen the T-Mobile commercials featuring Charles Barkley and Dwyane Wade with the running theme of Chuck denying D-Wade access into his 5. In one ad, we see Charles finally
putting Flash in his five, only to reject him after finding out Dwyane’s nickname is Pookie.. That’s not a valid excuse anymore..

During halftime of Cavs/Mavs on the NBA on TNT E.J., Kenny, and Charles were discussing the 2008 NBA All-Star ballot. It’s early but Barkley took exception to T-Mac being ahead of Steve Nash for the second guard position in the west, and to Brandon Roy not being in the top ten for guards in the west.

CB: See that tells you.. the fans know about as much as my dogs Mango and Yoohoo..
Camera pulling out..Going to break..
KS:Your dogs names are Mango and YooHoo?

I think anybody watching said what Kenny Smith said. Mango and Yoohoo? For the Chuckster? Say it isn’t so. After the commercial break, Ernie and Kenny got on Charles about his dogs.

EJ: Tough talk from a guy who’s dogs are named what?
CB: Mango and Yoohoo.
KS: I know they’re not killer dogs.. You walk around the house screaming ‘Maaingooo, YoooHooo’?
CB: You bring your ass over one night.. I’ll turn ‘em loose on ya.

As it turns out, Charles won’t be lettin the dogs out on anybody after he revealed they’re small dogs.. Charles, Pookie, Mango, and Yoohoo.. Short shorts and ring exchanges.. I’m gettin up there in age, and I’m a little out of the loop, so what does getting in somebody’s five mean exactly?
