Curtis Granderson of the Detroit Tigers had his 1st Annual Curtis Granderson/Grand Kids Foundation celebrity basketball game on Saturday. You can get a firsthand report on the game here. It seems like the event was a success. The guest list was heavy on football players, especially former Wolverines. Braylon Edwards, Desmond Howard, and Tyrone Wheatley all made appearances to support Granderson’s foundation. Teammates Nate Robertson and Dontrelle Willis were in the house too.

Curtis Granderson and Nate Robertson had a 3 point shooting contest at halftime of the celebrity basketball game. The dunk contest was probably between quarters. It’s a good thing Dontrelle stuck with baseball. He’s a terrible rebounder, and that shot he threw up at the end of the Robertson vid was weak.
