Classic Montreal Expos Commercial

It seems like the Montreal Expos haven’t been around for 30 years instead of three, probably because management ran the team into the ground it’s last 10 years of existence. This Expos commercial in French features Dennis Martinez, Delino DeShields, Larry Walker, Ivan Calderon, Marquis Grissom, Bret Barberie, and Gary Carter. An always reliable You Tube commenter translated the commercial:
Narrator: The summer, the heat.
Martinez: Hey Expos!
Grissom: This ain’t as easy(as it looks)!
Walker: El Presidente, He’s really perfect.
Carter: The summer, come see us!
Fans: My summer, my Expos!
I’ll take their word for it…
Time for a YBB flashback.. One day in the summer of 1991 I was sitting around playing video games with some friends when a group of people came by and said they were going to the Dodger game. They invited us to go, but we didn’t. That was dumb. The date was July 28, 1991 and Dennis “El Presidente” Martinez threw a perfect game against Los Angeles. I wish I had that day back.
