The Sacramento Kings-Los Angeles Lakers rivalry started in 2000 and culminated with the 2002 Western Conference finals in which many people feel the Kings got jobbed by the refs (and the NBA). One of the folks that believes something shady went down is former Kings forward and current TNT and NBA TV analyst Chris Webber.
Shaquille O’Neal joined “Inside the NBA” after the Cleveland Cavaliers 101-93 victory over the Boston Celtics in the first game of their Eastern Conference semifinal match-up. While answering an Ernie Johnson question, Shaq made a reference to getting a tough whistle like he did back in the day against Webber’s Kings. C-Webb responded with “Hey Shaq, Tim Donaghy’s on the phone for you.”
