Venus and Serena Williams are following in the footsteps of Deion Sanders and Bo Jackson by becoming two sport stars. The ladies have joined the Double Stuffed Racing League and seem to be taking it very seriously. Wyclef Jean of Fugees fame has written a new anthem, Venus (I’m Ready), in honor of tennis star Venus Williams. The song will be used throughout Venus’ run at the U.S. Open.

Wyclef Jean and Venus Williams met during a taping of the Sundance Channel’s “Iconoclasts”, a show that pairs two famous people from different fields for a conversation about their crafts and lives. The show and the song have left Venus very impressed with Wyclef. Read the full story

Saturday will mark the seventh time the sisters have battled in a Grand Slam final with the younger Serena holding a 5-1 record over big sis.
