“I’m just stripping to get through school” is the phrase used by 95% of the female entertainers. The other 5% do it for coke money. Nobody believes a dancer when she says she’s doing it for book money, but “Hannah”, a junior at Texas Tech, is trying to change that.
“My entire freshman year, I was a stripper first and a student second. It was a horrible thing — it’s a hard lifestyle to live. For people with no self control, (stripping) is not a good job.”
Aaah, yes.. Self control. The key component to stripping. Whenever I ask professional women why they chose their field, they never reply “well, I didn’t have enough self control to be a stripper so I ended up in med school.” Never. Also, This just in: I’m ignorant.
“There so much about strippers that people don’t know, lumping everybody into one category is not fair; it’s inaccurate and ignorant. It’s just a supplement to my lifestyle. It’s not who I am, it’s what I do.â€
I hear ya baby.. Quick sidenote.. If strippers are really trying to dance their way through college, what else is true? It’s not about the money? He really wants to spend more time with his family? She really don’t be doin this?
