LeGarrette Blount famously punched Boise State’s Byron Hout (and a teammate) after the Broncos 19-8 win over the Ducks last season and it looks like that part of his game has translated to the NFL. Blount punched Tennessee Titans teammate Eric Bakhtiari after a heated moment during yesterday’s practice. Head coach Jeff Fisher wasn’t bothered by the incident because training camp fights happen. That’s true, but Blount taking a swing at anything moving will eventually get old in Nashville.

The Tennessee Titans‘ defensive players either really like Michael Jackson, or they were trying to get in early on the MJ tribute biz. Here are Eric King, Reynaldo Hill, Calvin Lowry, Marquice Cole, and Tony Brown performing “Thriller” at Cortland Finnegan’s 2008 leukemia benefit. Michael Jackson’s death revitalized his name and career so much that “Dying” will become the new sex tape. Instead of shooting crappy homemade porn through night-vision goggles, celebs like Paris Hilton are literally going to kill themselves for publicity. I’m betting David Blaine or Jose Canseco will be the first to try, but I’m hoping it’s Spencer and Heidi.

Tennessee Titans quarterback Vince Young showed up at the team’s practice on Thursday and by all accounts appeared to be in a good mood. VY has been caught up in a mix of truth, rumor, and assumption since he departed Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He spoke with reporters about what really happened Sunday night.

I want to believe Vince but it’s hard. Nobody would know him better than his mama and if his mama didn’t think he was in a good state of mind, he probably wasn’t. Hopefully this situation has gotten Vince Young’s mind right and he’s good to go in a few weeks when he’s healed.

Vince Young of the Tennessee Titans reportedly has a torn medial collateral ligament (MCL) in his left knee and is expected to miss two to four weeks. Veteran qb Kerry Collins will take over the Titans for now.

Vince Young’s injury is big news, but just as interesting is the scene on the Tennessee sideline four plays before VY was hurt. The Titans’ offense was on the field, but Vince was on the bench talking with head coach Jeff Fisher.

“I came on the field and 10 wasn’t in the huddle,” said center Kevin Mawae. “I didn’t know what the situation was.”

Fisher then made a beeline to Young, standing several yards away.

After the game, Fisher recalled that his conversation with Young centered solely on the quarterback’s hamstring.

“He said, ‘It’s tight,’ and I said, ‘If it’s tight, we’ll go with Kerry,’ and try to talk him back into it and he felt good,” Fisher said.

But considering how animated Fisher appeared as he talked with Young, it’s hard to believe some other matters weren’t discussed. From the outside looking in, Fisher seemed to all but throw Young back onto the field.

Vince Young’s hamstring might have really been tight, but the way it looks is that Vince couldn’t move the offense, and his feelings got hurt when the crowd booed. I hope I’m wrong but if I’m right Vince can go ahead and start concentrating full-time on his sausage business.

Vince started the venture because he knows football doesn’t last forever, and he has to prepare for the future.

“What he wanted to do was get into a business while he was playing,” said Major Adams, Vince’s agent. “He’s looking out for his future now, because he knows the NFL is not for long. He’s trying to prepare himself for life after football.”

I’m glad to see VY is being smart and making some extra money. I hate hearing about former athletes being broke a few years after retirement. An added bonus is now Vince can supply the meat the next time he throws a sausage party.

Quarterback Vince Young of the Tennessee Titans is answering questions from YouTube members, and letting us know he’s glad Mike Heimerdinger has replaced Norm Chow as offensive coordinator. Vince is asked what are the differences between the two coaches and repeatedly mentions that Heimerdinger is aggressive and unpredictable.

VY is obviously taking shots at Norm Chow and goes on to say that Mike Heimerdinger is finally going to turn him loose. Vince is talking like he’s gonna lead the Titans to the playoffs. If he’s truly more comfortable in Heimerdinger’s system I say he backs it up.

Pacman Jones’ Franklin, Tennessee home is on the market because he’ll no longer need it now that he’s taking his game and accusations of ordering shootings to Dallas. Pacman’s family will continue to live in the house until it sells while Jones will be in Dallas training.

I took the virtual tour of his crib, the only way to see the home unless you have a pre-qualification letter, and guess what? There’s no stripper pole..

The 3000 square feet home is listed at 1.8 million, and sits on 30 acres of land. If I was Pacman Jones’ realtor I’d be calling up the Tennessee Titans’ 2008 draft picks and playing Let’s Make a Deal.. No matter how much or little Pacman makes on the sale, it’s better than having the house foreclosed. Just ask Jose Canseco.
