Jake Delhomme has delivered awful performances in his last two games for the Carolina Panthers. He ended last season with six turnovers and a home playoff loss to the Arizona Cardinals. Jake pissed off Panthers fans and wide receiver Steve Smith with by putting up a five turnover effort in an opening day home loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. Thanks to Inside the NFL we get to hear exactly how Smith felt about Delhomme’s play.

Joking or not, Steve Smith’s comments couldn’t have helped Delhomme who was booed off the field.. And pulled from the game. On the other hand Smith and Delhomme have the makings of a classic comedy team after Jake is forced out and Steve retires from the league.
