The 1993 Texas Rangers had Jose Canseco, Juan Gonzalez, Kevin Brown, Ivan Rodriguez, and Rafael Palmeiro on a roster that reads more like a steroid club than a lineup card. Canseco claims to have shot a couple of his Rangers teammates up with ‘roids and Kevin Brown’s name was in the Mitchell Report. Rafael Palmiero denied using any performance-enhancers and then tested positive. We should’ve seen that coming.

Fast forward to the 3:24 mark in the video to see Raffy’s container of Anabolic Powder in his locker.

I did some very minimal investigation and found that anabolic powder is fancy talk for protein shake mix. Still, kinda funny.

A few other observations.. Jose Canseco and Rafael Palmeiro have similar small bottles in their lockers. And, with all the lockers in the clubhouse, Raffy’s is the only one with the protein shake mix.
