• Presidential candidates Barack Obama and John McCain spoke to Chris Berman during the Monday night football game halftime

In an attempt to win over the all-important sports fan demographic Presidential candidates John McCain and Barack Obama took their campaigns to Monday Night Football. Both men laid out their plans: Obama wants an eight-team playoff system in college football, and McCain wants to get rid of steroids in sports.

I doubt their sports opinions will have any affect on the election results, but if those were their only platforms I’d be voting for Barack Obama. Congress is already involved with getting steroids out of sports, but somebody taking down the BCS and letting the college football championship be decided on the field is the kind of change I would like to see.

Gilbert Arenas of the Washington Wizards speaks his mind freely but his latest comments are sitting well with some of his co-workers. Agent Zero says he’s a Republican by circumstance although he doesn’t vote. If he was voting it wouldn’t be for Barack Obama since he plans to raise taxes for the rich. (I know he said he’s gonna raise the taxes on the top income bracket, Gil, but if he uses that money to improve our schools then you won’t have to worry about some kids trying to sell pictures of your pool online cause they couldn’t get a better job.) LOL

Gilbert Arenas is a free-spirit so it’s doubtful that anybody, including Baron Davis, is gonna change his mind. I’m just glad to see that the athletes are taking an interest in politics instead of giving the standard “no comment” we’ve become accustom to over the years.

Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and John McCain aren’t missing a chance to promote themselves in their quest for the presidency. Hillary’s been out drinking, Barack’s been doing something he calls bowling, and John McCain… He’s sitting back waiting for his chance to sling mud at one of the two.

The candidates set out to prove they’re not your grandfather’s candidates by doing some funny terrible WWE impressions. I thought Hill-Rod, Obama, and McCain would come across more naturally since Washington is like professional wrestling.. With a lot less steroids and way more hookers.

The best part of this video is when Keyshawn Johnson and Bill Clinton are first walking onto the stage. Key waves to the crowd like they’re actually cheering for him. Yeah man, you’re walking with Bill Clinton and behind you there’s a sign that has hillaryclinton.com at the bottom, but the crowd is there to see you. It’s not all bad for Keyshawn though. The former Prez says that they’re friends that go way back, and Keyshawn seemed to be doing fine in front of the crowd.. Like a natural politician. If Keyshawn Johnson was to go into politics, he should team up with Kevin Johnson. The two of them could run a Johnson & Johnson campaign with a slogan of “Just give us the damn vote”. Winner.
