Winning a conference championship in any sport is rightfully met by celebration, and the occasional slip of the tongue by an athlete on live television. Greg Lloyd slipped up after the Pittsburgh Steelers clinched the 1995 AFC Championship with a win over the Indianapolis Colts.
The NFL has crowned two different Super Bowl champions since the Steelers defeated the Seahawks in Super Bowl XL but the city of Seattle still hasn’t recovered. The Hawks’ fans are pissed about the suspicious calls by the refs and the terrible play of Jerramy Stevens. Knowing this, it’s probably not a good idea to wear Steelers gear and taunt a Seattle Seahawks fan that is also cooking your food.
That’s where a 37-year-old Kitsap, Washington man went wrong. He was warned about trash talking the cook but proceeded anyways. He probably thought he got the last word in until he opened his hamburger container and found a loogie. The man immediately told his daughter to stop eating, demanded a refund, and called the restaurant’s district manager. The police were called into the situation and learned that a 24-year-old restaurant employee was the culprit. Read the full story
On the You Tube info section for this video the author says “I just wrote a song about my NFL team. That’s all.”, but that’s not all. He mentions his diamonds, his Maserati, his Lexus, his mom’s house, and “around” numerous times. I give him a C- for the overall project. I woulda gave him a C, but he said something about churning butter. If there was a battle between this video and this video, I’d have to go with the latter.
The Pittsburgh Steelers are taking a page out of the Cardinals, Panthers, and Eagles playbook.. They’re getting a US Airways plane. The mascot is considered a team official?!? Which team officials are so low on the totem pole that Steely McBeam gets mentioned before them? Are the cheerleaders members of the coaching staff? No wonder Bill Cower hightailed it outta there.
