Pat Riley and Michael Jordan Make Quite a Pair

Michael Jordan joined Miami Heat President Pat Riley for the Cleveland Cavaliers-Miami Heat game. I know people are gonna find it strange that MJ was at the game since he’s the head of basketball operations for the Charlotte Bobcats, but think about it. The ‘cats played in Detroit. Why would Jordan wanna freeze his ass off watching two going-nowhere teams when he could chill on South Beach, and swing by the University of Central Florida to finalize the sneaker deal?

It’s great to see the four of them together.

Tony Kornheiser Dresses as Brad Childress, Chili Dresses as a Woman

Tony Kornheiser and Brad Childress look alike because they share the same balding pattern, wear glasses, and work with black guys. And because all white guys look the same. Michael Wilbon referred to the resemblance as frightening. TK had fun with the comparison Friday on PTI by dressing up as Chili for Halloween.

Kornheiser looks just like Childress.. Unless Brad decides to dress like a woman like he did on the Vikings’ flight to Pittsburgh last week. Tight end Visanthe Shiancoe took pictures of his head coach and posted them to his Twitter page. And somehow Twitter’s a bad thing? No way.

FBI Arrest Man Behind Erin Andrews Nude Videos

Michael David Barrett is in FBI custody and awaiting a Saturday morning court hearing after being accused of videotaping Erin Andrews in the nude. Barrett was arrested at Chicago’s O’Hare airport Friday night on federal charges of interstate stalking. He reportedly filmed EA in Nashville and Milwaukee hotels in 2008.

I understand that these are hard times but Michael Barrett couldn’t come up with a better plan than flying around the country and taping Erin Andrews in the nude? I mean, a guy with those camera skills and that kind of determination should’ve asked Bill Belichick for a job.

ESPN the Magazine’s “Body Issue” hits newsstands Oct. 9, and features more than 30 male and female athletes showing off their money makers. So far ESPN has been keeping a lid on who will be in the Body Issue, but USA Today is reporting Nascar’s Carl Edwards, surfer Claire Bevilacqua, U.S. Olympic softball player Jessica Mendoza, and Adrian Peterson are among the chosen.

The San Diego Chargers knocked Chad Pennington out of the game in the third quarter with a bruised shoulder after bloodying his face in the first half. Chad Henne takes over the Dolphins offense and removes any chance the Dolphins had of winning the game.

The details behind the murder of Steve McNair are still trickling in, with all signs pointing to a murder-suicide involving Sahel Kazemi. Police have stated that McNair and Kazemi had been dating for several months, and now TMZ has pictures of the two during happier times.

They definitely look happy together but who wouldn’t when out enjoying the weather and water? I’m curious to hear what went wrong.

Sahel Kazemi has been identified as the woman found dead with Steve McNair. All of the details of the Kazemi-McNair relationship aren’t known, but the 20-year-old Kazemi was recently cited for DUI while driving a car registered to McNair. The former NFLer was in the passenger seat when the car was pulled over.

Steve McNair was found by friends Wayne Neely and Robert Gaddy, dead of multiple gunshot wounds. A pistol laid near the body of Sahel Kazemi.

More details as the story behind this senseless tragedy unfolds.

McNair will be remembered for leading the Titans to the Super Bowl against the St. Louis Rams and coming up just short, and for being one of the toughest guys in the league. There wasn’t an injury that could sideline him. I hate to see him go so soon.

Cheyenne Woods Reintroducing Herself

Cheyenne Woods missed the cut of her first professional tournament, shooting 5-over through two rounds of the Wegman LPGA. Cheyenne is most famous for being the niece of Tiger Woods, and sharing some of his talents. Hopefully people let her and her game develop instead of putting undue pressure on her because of her family ties. Michelle Wie has shown us what hyped up expectations can lead to.

Chad OchoCinco has a Face Tattoo

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chad Ochocinco (Johnson) has gone the Mike Tyson and Stephon Marbury route by adding ink to his head. Ocho broke the news via Twitter of his new state of Florida and two crosses face tattoos.

I don’t follow Ochocinco on Twitter so I caught this story on Its Never Sunny in Cincinnati, where they have a letter from C.O. that discusses the tats, Carson Palmer, and movies.

The tattoos aren’t overbearing but I don’t know why somebody would want to tattoo their face unless it’s part of their religion or they desperately want attention. Since Chad Ochocinco isn’t the type of guy that would do something just to promote himself, I’m gonna go out on a limb and say he’s joined the Rama Cult.

No Maria, No Serena: Who to Watch at the French Open

Men pretend to be in to the competition in women’s tennis even though everybody knows we watch it to see the ladies running around in skirts and shorts as they bounce and grunt. Maria Sharapova and Serena Williams are two of the more popular women on tour, but both have been eliminated from the French Open. Who do we stare at (root for) now that Sharapova, the Williams sisters, and Ana Ivanovic are no longer in contention?

The women’s draw at the French Open features Dominika Cibulkova taking on Dinara Safina and Svetlana Kuznetsova matching up with Samantha Stosur. I don’t know enough about women’s tennis to give an educated opinion on who will win, but I do have my own method for determining the winner.
