The best part of college basketball (besides watching Carolina have a bad season) is March Madness. From the conference tournaments until “One Shining Moment” the NCAA gives us a month’s worth of buzzer beaters and upsets, Cinderellas and bridesmaids.

Before the tournament starts you’re sure to have the answers to a few questions: 1. Where can I watch the games online?, 2. Who to pick? and 3. Where can I fill out brackets for big money? YBB has you covered.

I was 1-3 again the number in the Divisional Round and 2-2 straight up. Overall I’m 1-7 against the spread and 3-5 with no number in 2010 NFL Playoffs. My picks went ice cold during the college bowl games and I haven’t been able to shake the funk. New York Jets +9 at Indianapolis Colts
Prediction: Colts 26 Jets 16

I’ve said it for two weeks and been wrong so I’ll say it again because the odds have to be in my favor.. I’m not rolling with the rookie QB on the road. I should’ve known better in the first two rounds. The Bengals faded away during the regular season and the San Diego Chargers are a bunch of choking front-runners. Indianapolis is a team that wins and wins and just as they gave the Jets to be in the playoffs they now take away their opportunity to advance to the Super Bowl.

Minnesota Vikings +4 at New Orleans Saints
Prediction: Vikings 27 Saints 24

The Vikings rolled up a solid Dallas defense while the Saints played Xbox with the Arizona Cardinals. This is the Adrian “All Day” Peterson game that he’s become famous for. Not the fumbling ones, the ones where he breaks long runs and punishes defenders. Favre picks his pants of the ground and gets back to the Super Bowl.

I went 0-4 against the spread and 1-3 straight up for last week’s NFL Wild Card Weekend, picking up where I left off in the college bowl season. I’m looking to get my mojo back which usually means a few games over .500. There’s only four games so anything worse than 3-1 sucks.

What I learned from last week:
*What I thought was the Cincinnati Bengals lying down in Week 17 was really as good as it gets.
*For all of their offensive weapons the Eagles need to overhaul their defense (and run the ball) if they plan to hang with Dallas the next five years.
*A team can win with their quarterback completing 4 of 10 passes for 34 yards.
*Neil Rackers is a choker.

Prediction: Saints 31 Cardinals 30

I didn’t have the Cardinals beating the Packers and even though Kurt Warner looks like he’s got his playoff groove going I’m not picking them to win this game. But they’ll cover in an exciting game.

Baltimore Ravens +3.5 at Indianapolis Colts
Prediction: Colts 22 Ravens 17

I’m sure you’ve seen the stat. The Colts under Peyton Manning are 0-3 when they have the bye week and 7-5 when they have to play through. Just like Dallas not winning in December or the postseason this streak comes to an end.

Dallas Cowboys +3 at Minnesota Vikings
Prediction: Cowboys 24 Vikings 20

I’m probably following victim to the first week slurp where teams get over-hyped because of how they played in the Wild Card round but I like Dallas. The Cowboys corners have the size and speed to matchup with the Vikings’ receivers, and their offensive and defensive lines are in beast mode.

New York Jets +8 at San Diego Chargers
Prediction: Chargers 27 Jets 16

I said last week that I didn’t see a rookie QB going on the road to get his first win. What I meant was I don’t see a rookie QB winning two straight games on the road. Sanchez proved me wrong last week, but he won’t be facing a bunch of lame cats this week. San Diego can make plays in the passing game when the Jets blitz and even though they can’t/don’t run Sproles and LT will do enough.

The first games of the NFL Playoffs mean I get to reset my picks record and start a brand new season. All of my earlier picks – the good and the bad – don’t matter now. You’re judged by what you do in the postseason and I’m ready to step up.

Line: New York Jets +3 at Cincinnati Bengals
Prediction: Bengals 20 Jets 16

I don’t like taking a rookie quarterback on the road in his first playoff game no matter how much New York dominated Cincy last week. The Bengals hold on to win.

Saturday 5:00 PM PT (NBC)
Line: Philadelphia Eagles +4 at Dallas Cowboys
Prediction: Cowboys 23 Eagles 20

Dallas beat Philly in Philly, at home, and will beat the Eagles in Dallas again for the second time in two weeks. The Cowboys are the better all-around team. Their lines have dominated the Eagles. Tony Romo and Wade Phillips get a monkey off of their backs.

Line: Baltimore Ravens +3.5 at New England Patriots
Prediction: Patriots 21 Ravens 17

No Wes Welker is gonna be a huge problem for the Patriots but the Ravens will commit penalties at key moments to let New England escape. Brady to Moss is the game winner.

Line: Green Bay Packers +1 at Arizona Cardinals
Prediction: Packers 24 Cardinals 22

I see Aaron Rodgers out dueling the veteran Kurt Warner in an exciting fourth quarter. The Packers defense seals the game and Brenda Warner doesn’t get to sing dirty songs.

Alabama and Texas take the field tonight at the Rose Bowl to decide the 2010 BCS championship. I’ve gotten an amazing 35 percent of my picks right during the bowl season so I’m trying to use this game as a springboard for next year.

My record is 12-22 so far. I’ve gone with a lot of favorites but the dogs are the ones making a killing and crushing my ego. This game is all about redemption.

Texas +4 against Alabama

I know about Heisman winners not winning National Championships. I know Alabama doesn’t have an Ndamukong Suh. But I believe in Nick Saban and the mission his team is on. Again, my record is 12-22 so what the hell do I know?

With two games left in the 2009-10 college bowl game season there’s no way I can salvage my 11-22 record. My pick in tonight’s GMAC Bowl is based on what I’ve read because I’ve never seen the two teams play. I probably won’t watch this game.

I somehow ended up on the right side of Iowa’s beatdown of Georgia Tech in last night’s Orange Bowl. Let’s make it two in a row.

There’s no need for me to go into any elaborate explanations about who I think is going to win and why. My college bowl game picks fell off track faster than Tiger’s marriage. At one point I was 5-7. I’m now 10-22. I’m 5-15 in the last 20 bowl games for the slow people. Here’s my winning pick. Do with it what you like.

I have one question for you if you’re reading this post.. What the hell is the matter with you? Unless you’re here to make sure you have the opposite of my picks there’s no reason to read what I’ve typed about college bowl games and point spreads. I have no idea what I’m doing.

I’m 10-21 on the bowl season with consecutive days of 1-4, 1-5, and 1-4. I don’t wanna say my picks suck but the St. Louis Rams think my record is embarrassing. The good news is it can’t get any worse. The bad news is there’s four games left for me to pick.

I picked up in 2010 where I left off in 2009 which means if you’re looking to profit from my college bowl game knowledge you’re in bad shape. I’ve gone 1-4 and 1-5 in the last two days of bowl games. That’s 2-9 in two days for the slow people. My overall record is 9-17 and you can look at it two ways: My picks suck ass or I’m due for a hot streak. I think we know the truth.
