I’ve got some good news and some bad news for you. The good news, I’m 7-1 straight up picking games in the playoffs. The bad news, I’m 4-4 against the spread. I had the Packers, Patriots, and Chargers, all winning and covering. I had a feeling the Giants could pull off an upset in Dallas, but I didn’t have the heart to pick two upsets on Sunday. I should have gone with the obvious distraction angle.. I guess I ended up thinking about the game too much.

There’s not much thinking to do this week. Four teams playing for a chance at the Super Bowl, and the ultimate prize, the Lombardi Trophy. The two biggest factors going into the NFL playoff games this weekend are the weather in Green Bay, and the play of Billy Volek. The temperature at Lambeau Field is expected to be in single digits. The New York Giants have seen plenty of bad weather, but on the road at Buffalo isn’t the same as traveling to Lambeau when Brett Favre has a chance to get to the Super Bowl. Billy Volek is gonna have to do his best regular season Todd Collins impersonation, and the rest of the team is gonna have to play lights out for the Chargers to stand a chance… A slight chance.

I don’t know what happened between Randy Moss and his friend that caused her to file a temporary restraining order, but this is how you get in front of the situation. Roger Clemens take notes. Granted, Moss waited until the situation went public, but what could he do? It’s not like he could just call the reporters over and say hey guys in the next couple of days you’re gonna hear that I hit a woman or some shit like that.. It’s not true but you know… you’re gonna hear it so it is what it is..

I don’t have enough details to give an opinion either way. There could be something to this, or it could be a Kwame Brown playoff distraction type of situation. Either way, I don’t see this having the Romo effect on the rest of the New England Patriots.

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo is chilling with Jessica Simpson, her family, and some teammates in Mexico.. The week before the divisional round of the NFL playoffs.. Yeah, I’d say he definitely has his eyes on the prize.. And by prize I mean Jessica’s ass.

I don’t wanna tell Tony Romo how to handle his biz, but Jessica can wait. And if she doesn’t, he’s Tony Romo, quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys.. Look at the women he’s already dated, I’m sure somebody else will come along. I doubt Romo’s gonna listen to me.. It’s not like I’ve ever been an NFL head coach.. But Bill Parcells has, and if you remember Bill Parcells’ 11 Quarterback Commandments, you know Tony Romo is on a path to football damnation.

I don’t know if anybody from #1 is trying to give Romo football advice, but I could see Jessica Simpson’s dad pulling Tony to the side and trying to talk x’s and o’s.. And we all know when you’re bangin’ a man’s daughter, the least you can do is listen to his thoughts on your game.. Number 11 is obviously being broken. Tony’s in LA and Mexico during bye weeks, and he invites chicks to the games so he can show off. Romo needs to rein it in before this
