Jordan Crawford became a big name last summer when he smashed on LeBron James at the King’s basketball camp. He followed ‘The Dunk Eventually Seen ’round the World” with leading Xavier to the Sweet 16 where they lost an incredible double overtime game to Kansas State. Crawford declared for the NBA Draft after the season and was selected 27th by the New Jersey Nets, who then traded him to the Atlanta Hawks. I interviewed Jordan at the Under Armour High School Slam Dunk contest on Friday and it’s easy to see he’s anxious to get on the floor as a pro.

Jordan Crawford became an instant legend by doing something few people witnessed: Dunking on LeBron James. Crawford spoke to reporters about the dunk that Nike blocked, and said he’ll be bragging about it when he gets back to Xavier.

I was geeked about it more than anything.. Just because it was LeBron.

Damn right Crawford was geeked about throwing down on the King. And he’d be even happier if Nike or LeBron would stop acting like cowards and release the video.
