Beer Pong or Beirut or whatever the kids are calling it these days has surged into the lead as America’s top drinking game. There’s a Beer Pong Movie, two different Beer Pong games for Nintendo Wii, a $50,000 tournament, and black people are playing. The game’s official.

American Equistock Racing is hoping to ride the success of the drinking game by naming one of their racehorses Beer Pong. BP was the sixth horse in the fourth race at Saratoga on Friday.

American Equistock has a horse named Clemens in their stable too. To my knowledge the horse has never used steroids or performance enhancing drugs. Hopefully Beer Pong the game won’t suffer the shame, humiliation, and fall from grace that Roger Clemens is experiencing.

As far as Beer Pong goes.. He placed second in the race and paying some good change.

I thought the Shaquille O’Neal as a jockey commercial during the Super Bowl was one of the better commercials.. Based on the visual of big ass Shaq riding a horse.. I like to think of Shaq being a jockey as a metaphor. The horse actually represents Dwyane Wade or Steve Nash.. And the finish line represents the NBA championship.. Meaning, the only way Shaq gets the prize is on the back of somebody else.

We men do a lot of stupid things when we’re in love. We’ll forget about our homeboys, we’ll watch Serendipity, and in the case of Gene Simmons, we’ll let the lil lady wager 100k on a horse at the derby.

The former bassist for KISS and his wife life partner were filming an episode of their reality show, Family Jewels, at Churchill Downs when Shannon Tweed made the $100,000 bet. The identity of the wagered upon horse was kept secret but it isn’t too hard to figure out where the money was placed.

Between noon and 1 p.m., the odds on Nobiz Like Shobiz went from 12-1 to 9-1, a sharp drop in a pool of more than $8 million six hours before post time. Perhaps a six-figure wager was responsible? Could the actress have made a fearless hunch bet on a name? This relentless investigative reporter introduced himself to Shannon, saying, “I enjoyed your movies,” – hey, I wasn’t lying – and asked, “Will you be rooting for Nobiz Like Shobiz?” She seemed a bit surprised by the question, then smiled and said, “Yes, I will.”

If she did bet on NoBiz, that’s money wasted.. Nobiz Like Shobiz finished in 10th place. I’d be willing to bet that the money was actually put up by the producers of the reality show.
