The rappers Game and Bow Wow have been dissin each other and talkin trash via YouTube about who would win in a game of Madden. Bow Wow talked the best ish but when it came down to it Game shut him down and took his 100 thow wow.

Of course Game came out with a football helmet on. It was the corniest thing he could do. I can’t knock him though. Technically he skunked Bow Wow 21-0, but they kept playing and the final score was 55-23. Game challenges Dwyane Wade and Ocho Cinco to a game of Madden at the end of the video. I can’t see D-Wade doing it, but I’m surprised Chad 8 5 hasn’t posted a YouTube video accepting the challenge already.

Ludacris puts his twist on Take Me Out To The Ballgame in this old Atlanta Braves commercial. I expected a little more from Luda, but I’ll give him a pass since he didn’t have the most Hip-Hop inclined song to work with. If you prefer traditional performances check out Michael Wilbon at Wrigley.

It’s titled ‘We For Real’, and somebody needs to get a copy of it to the Dallas Mavericks. I picked the Mavs to pull of the 1st round upset over the Hornets, but apparently Dallas thought they were gonna reputation their way to the next round instead of playing ball. Now the Mavericks find themselves in a hole with their franchise’s entire identity in the balance. Falling apart against the Heat in the finals followed by a first round ousting at the hands of the eighth seeded Golden St. Warriors was bad enough. Getting eliminated from the playoffs this year without putting up a fight should force Cuban to shake up the team and the coaching staff.

When Vitamin Water isn’t adding a few zeros to David Wright’s bank account they’re rolling out tight commercials. My favorite is Tracy McGrady tossing the sheep, and coming in a close second is Urlacher and Big Papi playing badminton.

Vitamin Water’s latest ad features stars from MLB (David Ortiz), the NFL (Brian Urlacher and Adrian Peterson), and the NBA (Dwight Howard). Rapper 50 Cent appears alongside the athletes but I’m not sure why. It could be 50′s amateur boxing history, or it could be because Curtis was linked to performance enhancing drugs… Either way, it looks like the astronaut theme is big with athletes this year.

A Knob is a 4th classmen, or a freshman in the real world, and as you can hear, Knobs get treated like crap. They only get scraps to eat, and they get yelled at all day. It’s kinda like interning for Naomi Campbell, with a mandatory military uniform dress code.. I was born into a VMI family, but I’ll give The Citadel a little dap in this case.

Somebody better get on Chris Bosh.. He’s taking over the media. He has a website, a vote me into the All-Star game commercial, a podcast, and CBTV. In this episode Chris Bosh is interviewing Jim Jones from The Dipset. We didn’t get a whole lot from the interview, mainly due to Jim’s mumbling, but it’s still good to see CB4 doing his thing.. Even if he “watches rap a lot”. Kids today..

The above video was shot during the NBA All-Star weekend of 007 in Las Vegas. The big Hip Hop releases in the 4th quarter of 2006 were Snoop Dogg’s Blue Carpet Treatment, Nas’ Hip Hop Is Dead, Young Jeezy’s Thug Motivation 102, and Jay-Z’s Kingdom Come. I thought the Nas album was the best of the bunch, but according to the scientific, 2 man study in this video, NBA players preferred Jay-Z and Jeezy. And Juke… Who, in America, is known as “Joc”.

On the You Tube info section for this video the author says “I just wrote a song about my NFL team. That’s all.”, but that’s not all. He mentions his diamonds, his Maserati, his Lexus, his mom’s house, and “around” numerous times. I give him a C- for the overall project. I woulda gave him a C, but he said something about churning butter. If there was a battle between this video and this video, I’d have to go with the latter.
