Danny Granger’s run as the No. 1 Ugly American was short lived thanks to Floyd Mayweather Jr. dropping racist and homophobic bombs on and around Manny Pacquiao via UStream early this morning. The 41-0 Mayweather has used UStream to connect with his fans the last couple of nights, even calling a lucky few that posted their phone numbers on Twitter. Not only is Floyd out of bounds with his comments, he’s the one looking like a punk the longer it takes for the match to be made. You can’t call out a man the way Mayweather did in this video and not give him a chance to fight you. I’m not sure which commission would see over this but Mayweather deserves a stiff fine for his comments. And after that he can put the rest of his money where his mouth is and get in the ring with Pacquiao. Unless he’s the dog that’s worried about getting cooked.

Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. will fight at some point but it’s not happening in 2010. Bob Arum announced that Pacquiao will take on Antonio Margarito Nov. 13 in either Las Vegas or Monterrey, Mexico. Hopefully 2011 is the year both the Pacquiao and Mayweather camps quit BS’n the fans and give us the fight we want and the sport needs.

Pacquiao-Margarito isn’t a bad fight (as long as Antonio’s gloves are legit) but it’s not a super-fight. It’s the exact opposite in Puerto Rico where chicken fights are regulated and the sport is considered a cultural right of Puerto Ricans.

Floyd should consider how much money he’ll have to bet on cockfighting after he fights Manny Pacquiao. Win or lose he could clear close to $50 million. The only cocks and/or chickens are the people that can’t or won’t make the fight happen.

Many are accusing Floyd Mayweather Jr. of being scared to fight Manny Pacquiao. Whether he doesn’t want to risk tarnishing his 41-0 record or truly is fearful of Manny isn’t known. What’s clear is that Floyd isn’t preparing to fight Pacquiao, or anybody in the near future. The Manny Pacquiao-Floyd Mayweather Jr. super fight hit a snag over performance-enhancing drug testing although common sense says nothing will stop this fight because of the amount of money on the line. Pacquiao has no problem submitting unlimited random urine samples but he doesn’t completely agree with Mayweather’s blood testing preference. Manny is willing to have his blood tested three times (In early January, 30 days before the fight, and in his dressing room following the fight.), but Money May is calling for random blood tests that could occur the week of the fight.

Mayweather Jr., Floyd Mayweather Sr., and uncle Jeff Mayweather have all hinted at various times that Pacquiao has used/uses performance enhancing drugs. Manny has had enough of their talk and plans to handle it in court and in the ring.

They should be man enough and to own up to their words,” Pacquiao said in a statement. “For including my country in the picture, claiming that we are the producers of the best performance-enhancing drugs, Mayweather and those who are guilty need to get punished, the sooner, the better, whether it be in the courts or the ring.

“Last week, I told Floyd Jr. to shut his big, pretty mouth and that we should fight so that the world will get to see who is the best fighter on the planet.”

The fight is going to be the highest grossing fight of all-time so there’s no need for publicity stunts. Pacquiao is legitimately pissed. We’ll have to wait and see if he’s able to defend the honor of the Philippines and his own as well. In the meantime Pacquiao has to worry about keeping wife Jinkee happy after rumors of infidelity, and figuring out a way to get Filipinos to go see his tanking movie.

From the Las Vegas Review-Journal via The Big Lead comes the news of Floyd Mayweather Jr. spending money freely and talking about a fight that we can only assume will be with Manny Pacquiao. Money May used his Visa Black card at a Las Vegas area Chevy dealer to cop a gold-colored Tahoe for a lady friend. He told employees at the dealership he had to hurry because he was preparing for a big fight.

Floyd gave his team permission to start negotiating a fight with Manny Pacquiao a week ago, and nothing official has been announced yet but everybody knows the fight is happening. The number one reason the fight will take place is because each fighter stands to make $45-50 million and Floyd’s nickname is money. And who knows how much cash they’ll rake in if there’s an epic trilogy. Mayweather will be able to pay the IRS and Visa with no problem after all the money he stands to make.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. handled the smaller, older Juan Manuel Marquez in a September tuneup fight that he hopes lands him the Manny Pacquiao-Miguel Cotto winner. If not, Mayweather can fall back on Shane Mosley. Or retire again.

Floyd is best known for being a boxer, then for appearing on Dancing With the Stars, and then for being the guy that loves to floss. Money May threw 30 grand into the crowd at an Atlanta nightclub, showed a duffel bag full of money on Youtube, and his crib was robbed for $7 mil in jewels.

It’s Floyd’s money and he’s earned the right to do with it as he pleases, but he’d have less problems with robbers and haters if he wasn’t always putting his wealth on display.

Oscar has been dragged into a court battle by Milana Dravnel, and on May 3rd he’ll fight Steve Forbes.. Floyd’s staying in shape by playing in the NBA All-Star celebrity game, and punching Big Show in the face at a WWE PPV event. I’m in the camp that thinks professional wrestling is fake, but it looked like Floyd landed a pretty clean shot.
