Aaron Rodgers officially stamped the Green Bay Packers as his team with a 24-19 victory over the Minnesota Vikings on Monday Night Football. The man taking over for Brett Favre had a good showing in his first start going 18-22 for 178 yards with a rushing and passing touchdown. Rodgers got some help from running back Ryan Grant (12 carries 92 yards), and the Green Bay special teams, but that doesn’t matter. In the history books it will say Aaron Rodgers won his first start and scored the game winning touchdown.

About the picture: Brett Favre was the quarterback in Green Bay for the past 16 years and the fans still don’t know how to spell his name? No wonder Farve wanted out of Cheesetown.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell is tough on players that run into off the field problems. Adam Jones, Chris Henry, and Michael Vick have all felt the commissioner’s wrath when they’ve screwed up. No longer content with the ability to punish players, Goodell is extending his long arms into the stands.

The NFL implemented a new code of fan conduct Tuesday, warning that spectators who misbehave will be ejected from stadiums and barred from coming back.

The policy, first recommended by commissioner Roger Goodell at league meetings in April, is aimed at conduct that the league said “detracts from the gameday experience.”

The NFL’s list of banned stadium behavior is below accompanied by video of how not to act at one Roger Goodell’s football games.

— Behavior that is unruly, disruptive, or illegal.

– Drunkenness and signs of alcohol impairment that result in irresponsible behavior.

– Foul or abusive language or obscene gestures.

– Interference with the progress of the game, including throwing objects onto the field.

– Failing to follow instructions of stadium personnel.

– Verbal or physical harassment of fans from the opposing team.

After Roger Goodell finishes cleaning up fan behavior in the stands he’s gonna tackle tailgate parties, sports bars, and people listening to NFL games on the radio. The Commish won’t rest until all rule breakers answer to him.

The Hulk and some guy in yellow face paint decided to rep Boston and LA “There Can Only Be One” style. The best 6th man or 15th man, whatever you wanna call it has to go to the Celtics fans. All you have to do is look at the difference between game two in Boston and game four in Los Angeles. When the Lakers tried to make a historic comeback in game two, the Boston crowd never gave up. They seemed nervous but they had faith. The second half of game four in Los Angeles turned into a wake.

The NFL has crowned two different Super Bowl champions since the Steelers defeated the Seahawks in Super Bowl XL but the city of Seattle still hasn’t recovered. The Hawks’ fans are pissed about the suspicious calls by the refs and the terrible play of Jerramy Stevens. Knowing this, it’s probably not a good idea to wear Steelers gear and taunt a Seattle Seahawks fan that is also cooking your food.

That’s where a 37-year-old Kitsap, Washington man went wrong. He was warned about trash talking the cook but proceeded anyways. He probably thought he got the last word in until he opened his hamburger container and found a loogie. The man immediately told his daughter to stop eating, demanded a refund, and called the restaurant’s district manager. The police were called into the situation and learned that a 24-year-old restaurant employee was the culprit.

The deputy went to the 24-year-old’s house, and when he knocked on the door, a voice from inside yelled that he “wasn’t buying any … girl scout cookies.”.

The deputy told him, “I won’t sell you any,” and when the man opened the door, the deputy “was immediately confronted with the strong odor of burnt marijuana.”

Eventually, the man brought the deputy a bag of marijuana and he was arrested. The man also confessed to spitting in the 37-year-old’s hamburger container to “gross him out … because he was a Steelers fan.

The cook was arrested for fourth-degree assault and possession of marijuana. He was booked into the Kitsap County jail then released. Pretty bad day for that dude. He got clowned by a Steelers fan while flipping burgers at a fast food joint, arrested, and the cops took his stash. Mix in the fact that he lives in the Seattle area, I’d say we’re pretty close to suicide watch.
