There’s no typo in the headline. You read that correctly. Luke Walton, who’s normally called “Heady”, “Smart”, “A glue guy”, or “Garbage”, raised up and threw one down in Ronny Turiaf’s face.

Either Kobe Bryan gave Luke Walton a “Dunk or die” ultimatum or Bill’s son got a new girlfriend. Those are the only two things I can think of that would make Luke dunk. On the flipside, it probably sucks to be Ronny Turiaf on the Warriors’ plane tonight.

The Miami Heat played the New Jersey Nets in London and gave the audience what they came to see. A lot of dunks, highlighted by Dwyane Wade throwing down over Yi Jianlian.

That’s the D-Wade I’m used to. If he can stay healthy he’ll be an MVP candidate at the end of the season. I’ll forgive the traveling during the spin move and the double-dribble on breakaways as long as he’s playing hungry.

I replayed this Stromile Swift dunk at least 10 times when I saw it on the highlights. No disrespect to Tyrus Thomas but gyaaawt dayuuumm son.. You shoulda just left it at falling for the pump fake but no. You wanna go hard, hustle, try to recover and make a play.. Look what that got you. Dookey’d on.

A dunk only counts as 2 points, and the Warriors are winless on the season, but Baron Davis is picking up where he left off in the playoffs.. I hope Baron can keep this up for a full 82 games. If the injury gods would get off of BD for a season, he could be an MVP candidate.
