Donovan McNabb was a polarizing figure in Philadelphia with the media, fans and in the locker room. Leonard Weaver supported #5 staying with the team, but DeSean Jackson and the youth movement got their wish with Kevin Kolb taking over the offense. Jackson denies leading the push for Kolb at QB although on his 97.5-FM “The Fanatic” radio show he said it was time for a change. Whether DeSean wanted to play with McNabb or not doesn’t matter now. Kolb is calling the signals now and it’s time to look forward.

In non-McNabb news Jackson hooked up with Gillie and Oschino to drop a few bars. He’s rapping under the moniker “Jack” but people think he’s Nino. Jack should stick to letting Snoop rap about him instead of picking up the mic. Listen to “Let’s Do It” below:

DeSean Jackson has two NFL seasons under his belt and he’s used that short amount of time to prove the critics wrong that said he was too small to play in the NFL. While he is NFL little at 5-10, 175 pounds he does nothing but make big plays on the field. He’s brought an explosiveness and swagger to the Eagles that the team hasn’t had since the early 90s.

Jackson was selected to the 2010 NFL Pro Bowl as a wide receiver and return man marking the first time a player has been selected at two positions. He entertained the fans in Miami by doing The Jerk, his signature touchdown dance, after his first touchdown of the game.

Hopefully he’s an Eagle for his entire, long NFL career.

DeSean Jackson is the Philadelphia Eagles quick strike wide receiver and punt returner that added a much needed swagger to the Philly offense. Whether he’s making a big play or chest bumping with Andy Reid he’s doing something to pump up his team. D-Jack was named to the Pro Bowl as a wide receiver and punt returner and now he’s really feeling himself.

DeSean Jackson has become one of the biggest weapons in the NFL in just two years with the Philadelphia Eagles. He has 12 total touchdowns (Nine receiving, one rushing, and two by punt return) in 2009, and eight of them have been for 50+ yards. One more TD of 50 yards or more puts him alone in the record the books.

When DeSean gets in the end zone he usually busts into a dance before chest bumping Andy Reid. The dance is called The Jerk, there’s a movement, and I’ll let the New Boyz and DeSean Jackson explain.

Hopefully DeSean can jerk the Birds all the way to the Super Bowl.

DeSean Jackson brought swagger with him to the Philadelphia Eagles and he puts it on display by prematurely celebrating touchdowns, doing the Jerk when he scores, and chest bumping with Andy Reid. The two tried the mid-air hook-up a few times in the past but they had the magic working against the New York Giants.

I’d be chest bumping too if I signed a three-year contract extension like Andy Reid did this past week, or if I had torched the Giants like DeSean Jackson did all night.

DeSean Jackson of the Philadelphia Eagles continues to make a name for himself in the NFL. All but one of his touchdowns this season have been over 50 yards, and if he gets a few more chances against the New York Giants punt coverage team he’ll add to his total. Here’s D-Jack getting loose for a 72-yard punt return.

Dat boy good. Punters aren’t known for their tackling but Jeff Feagles can do better than that. He had the sideline there to help him and still ended up diving at DeSean’s feet. Fly Eagles Fly.

The Philadelphia Eagles did their part in the Philly-New York war with a 40-17 victory over the New York Giants. Big Blue got on the board late in the first half to make the score 16-7, but the Eagles scored two touchdowns in the final two minutes for a 30-7 halftime lead. One of those two touchdowns was a McNabb-to-Jackson 54-yard connection. DeSean Jackson‘s moves were so tight he made a referee fall over the 18-yard line, right before chest bumping Eagles coach Andy Reid.

Andy Reid looks like he’s bracing himself to be hit by a truck. Not what I would expect since Reid made a joke about Jackson’s size last year when DeSean chest bumped Reid.

DeSean Jackson could stand to gain a few pounds but what he lacks in size he makes up with heart and explosive plays.

The talk all week for the Philadelphia Eagles was about Michael Vick playing in his first game since the dogfighting scandal, and McNabb and Westbrook being banged up. DeSean Jackson received a little attention because he’s nursing a sore groin, but once the game started it was all about D-Jack. He racked up 149 yards on six catches including a 64-yard catch, run, and flip for a touchdown.

Kevin Kolb’s touchdown passes to DeSean Jackson the last two weeks total 135 yards. That’s impressive but not nearly as amazing as Kevin Kolb’s interception return yardage when combining Ed Reed’s 108-yard int return and Darren Sharpers’ 97-yard return last week.

Watching the Dallas Cowboys beat the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football hurt me as a long-time Eagles fan. To keep from crying I’ll watch these videos of Philly wide receiver DeSean Jackson losing the ball before crossing the goal line. He’s been doing this for years.

What happened last night was dumb.

DeSean Jackson is gonna take some heat for that play but it could’ve been worse. Fortunately for Jackson the Eagles were still given the ball at the Dallas 1-yard line and were able to get a touchdown. I bet he’s out the back of the end zone before he drops the ball the next time he scores.
