The Philadelphia Eagles did their part in the Philly-New York war with a 40-17 victory over the New York Giants. Big Blue got on the board late in the first half to make the score 16-7, but the Eagles scored two touchdowns in the final two minutes for a 30-7 halftime lead. One of those two touchdowns was a McNabb-to-Jackson 54-yard connection. The talk all week for the Philadelphia Eagles was about Michael Vick playing in his first game since the dogfighting scandal, and McNabb and Westbrook being banged up. DeSean Jackson received a little attention because he’s nursing a sore groin, but once the game started it was all about D-Jack. Watching the Dallas Cowboys beat the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football hurt me as a long-time Eagles fan. To keep from crying I’ll watch these videos of Philly wide receiver DeSean Jackson losing the ball before crossing the goal line. He’s been doing this for years.
