Dallas Cowboys tight end Martellus Bennett is probably better known for his Youtube work than his play on the field. Bennett’s caught four passes for 40 yards this season prompting some “Romo doesn’t look for Bennett” talk. Martellus joked about the situation at a charity event which should put the issue to rest.. Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones crammed people into his billion dollar stadium any way he could in a successful attempt to set an all-time regular season attendance record in the NFL. One scheme scam ruse idea Jones had was the “Party Pass.” Fans were given standing room only access to the stadium for $29, and many feel they didn’t get their money’s worth. Read the full story

The Dallas Cowboys‘ new stadium is sitting on a goldmine of natural gas although language in the contracts between the team and owners of the gas beneath the stadium prevent any drilling. Recent earthquakes in North Texas are believed to be caused by natural gas drilling. There are worries that drilling beneath Cowboys Stadium would cracks or sinking. Read the full story

• The Dallas Cowboys released Adam “Pacman” Jones following allegations that Jones set-up a shooting
The Dallas Cowboys have parted ways with trouble-magnet Adam “Pacman” Jones after an ESPN report on Jones’ involvement in an Atlanta shooting. The allegations stem from a shooting outside of a strip club in 2007, and police say the case remains open even though they’re not investigating the incident anymore.
Jones spoke to the Dallas News’ Cowboys blog about being cut, and the chance of him filing a lawsuit against ESPN. Read the full story

• Eagles team president questions Roy Williams deal, team direction
The 2008 season is hanging in the balance for the Dallas Cowboys. If the ‘Boys can weather the storm while Tony Romo’s out, get some help in the secondary, pacify TO, find Wade Phillips a pair, refresh Jason Garrett’s playbook, and get Jerry Jones to stay out of the way, they might be able to go 8-8.
The Cowboys traded for wide receiver Roy Williams to help beef up their offense. I don’t know how his acquisition makes Dallas get back to the run game or get Terrell Owens more involved, and I don’t think the Cowboys know either. Philadelphia Eagles president Joe Banner was asked his thoughts on the Williams deal and after basically saying Dallas overpaid he explained the difference between the two organizations.
