TMZ Sports reported yesterday that Terrell Owens was very close to signing with the Cincinnati Bengals. Pro Football Talk shot down the story while Bengals QB Carson Palmer told a source that he’s been impressed by TO at workouts in Southern California. So what does it all mean? Nothing until Chad Ochocinco added his two pesos.

@OGOchoCinco confirmed TMZ’s report with two tweets and a Twitpic that say Owens is joining the Bengals.. And that Chad will gladly play the Robin to Terrell’s Batman.

TO has lost a step and can be a pain in the ass in the locker room but this is a good place for him. The Bengals need help at wide receiver (Antonio Bryant is coming off of an injury and Matt Jones is ehhh right now.) and with their running game and defense in place, Owens makes them a little bit better.

Chad Ochocinco started the new season of Dancing With the Stars by doing the “Cha Cha” with his partner Cheryl Burke. Before Ochocinco could flash his dance moves he had to make sure to get Terrell Owens a little camera time. Time that should’ve been spent on Erin Andrew’s DWTS performance. Skip ahead to 2:45 in the video for TO and then Ochocinco and Burke doing the “Cha Cha.”

The Cincinnati Bengals got eliminated from the NFL playoffs without making much noise so Chad Ochocinco has picked up the slack in the offseason. He performed his smash-hit “Girl You Trippin’” in Miami, proposed Tiger Woods as his condom pitchman, and asked Marvin Lewis to turn Terrell Owens into Ochouno.

Ochocinco can now add video vixen to his resume after playing Monica’s love interest in her “Everything to Me” video. The video was shot earlier this week in Los Angeles. You can check out some pictures below.

Chad Ochocinco tweeted last June that he was dropping a line of condoms. He hasn’t given up on the idea and says he wants to sign Tiger Woods to pitch his catchers.

If the Ochocinco condoms ever see the light of day there’s no chance in hell Tiger Woods will endorse them. From everything I’ve read about the T-Dub scandal he doesn’t use condoms.

Chad Ochocinco has found another way to keep his name in the mix even though the Cincinnati Bengals were eliminated from relevance Wild Card weekend. Ochocinco picked up a guitar and performed “Girl You Trippin” a couple of nights ago at Karma in South Beach, and now he has his own “Pants on the Ground.”

Chad Ochocinco told Bob Costas before last week’s Bengals-Jets game that Darrelle Revis couldn’t shut him down and if he did Chad would change his name back to Johnson. Revis held Ochocinco to zero catches but a pregame slip gave Chad an injury excuse. Revis shutdown Ochocinco again in the Wildcard Weekend rematch limiting Chad to two catches for 28 yards. There’s no word if Chad will follow through with his promised name change but former NFL defensive back Artrell Hawkins has a suggestion if he does.

And so after the game Saturday, nobody was sure what to call Ochocinco. It was a laughing topic of conversation in the Jets’ locker room, too, believe me. Former NFL defensive back Artrell Hawkins, who played with Johnson in Cincinnati from 2001-03 and with Revis at New York in 2008, came over to Revis’ locker and mumbled, “His last name should be Revis, man — Chad Revis.”

That’s real. Chad talked the talk but Revis walked it twice. I think he should change his name to Chad Cerodos to represent being 0-2 against Revis and for having no catches and two catches in the two games.

Chad Ochocinco didn’t wear a Chris Henry jersey Sunday in San Diego to pay tribute to his fallen teammate. But he did set aside his HOF jacket, putter, and the poncho-sombrero get up when he scored to honor Henry.

Nice job by Ochocinco. He got his message across and the league won’t touch his pockets. RIP Chris Henry.

Chad Ochocinco scored a touchdown against the Detroit Lions that’s gonna cost him some money and that’s exactly the way he wanted it to go down. Ocho tweeted before the game that he would pull off a celebration that would cost him money. He’ll find out later this week how Roger Goodell and the NFL feel about ponchos and sombreros.

His Spanish might suck but Ochocinco’s celebrations are the best. They’re not the funniest or best executed but the fact he puts so much time and effort into his end zone fiestas cracks me up.

Picking up a present for Chad Ochocinco will be pretty easy if he’s on your Christmas shopping list. A cellphone, webcam, bullhorn, or any means for Ocho to communicate with the masses are all good ideas but he has those. Most of us can’t afford to buy Chad his own television so that leaves us the old reliable solution. A book.

There are two things Ochocinco loves besides football: Himself and talking about himself. Chad would’ve completed his life trifecta if the NFL hadn’t implemented a no tweeting during games rule. He’ll have to settle for somebody hooking him up with a couple of these books for Christmas so he can strengthen his social networking skills.

You won’t find two bigger Chad Ochocinco fans than @haydenlindley and @reidb11.. They’re not big enough fanatics of eight-five to pay his $20,000 bribe fine but they put together “The Ochocinco Project” in his honor. Turn up your speakers.
