When the Chicago Bulls drafted Joakim Noah, I thought it was a good pick. He wasn’t gonna solve their low post scoring problems, but he’s a winner. I thought he would add energy and excitement to the team, and he has, just not the kind I was expecting.
Falling to 14-22 and hardly competitive, several Bulls players on the bench late seemed relatively indifferent to the result. It was perhaps a worse message than the events of the evening, which were discouraging as well.
Apparently it led to a dispute in the locker room as rookie Joakim Noah complained about the attitude on the bench and argued with veteran Ben Wallace. One witness said Luol Deng had to step between them to ease the tension.
What the hell is going on in Chicago? Just the other day the team voted to sit Noah down, now he’s the only guy that cares about winning. That’s probably the overall problem. Joakim Noah is a winner born and bred. A tennis champion father, model mother, multiple national titles don’t allow Noah to be complacent. He might be going about things the wrong way, but butting heads with Ben Wallace doesn’t make Joakim a bad guy. I’m not going as far as saying Ben Wallace should be benched for the season, but his attitude and contract are bigger problems for the Chicago Bulls than Joakim Noah will ever be.

When it comes to kicks, I’m a simple man. I rock sneakers and hard bottoms, but I like my shoes to be 1 color.. Usually.. When I feel like living a little, I’ll pick up some Nikes or Adidas with 2-3 colors.Back in the day, when I could still play a little pick-up ball,
I liked ballin’ in these the most. Now that I’m old and fat, I’m not gonna be ballin in anything, so I just like looking at the shoes and talkin ish.

Just when you think it can’t get any worse better Ron-Ron goes and drops a new video. This isn’t of the rapping, or dog neglecting ilk… Artest is talking about the infamous brawl.
Some of my favorite quotes:
- Detroit is a gangster arena.
- I definitely shoulda got a pass on that one… you know, when I went in the stands.
- What Ben did was disrespectful.. If I’da known that the referees would of handled was gonna handle it how they did like as far as not handling the situation at all then I woulda probably fought.
- The owner of Detroit, he’s a.. he’s a trip.
- I lay on tables a lot. I lay on my bench in my neighborhood and nobody throws cups of beer and rocks at me.
Ron Artest is classic. I do agree that Ben Wallace got the ball rolling that evening, BUT.. Ron saying he deserves a pass is hilarious. What’s next? Charles Manson saying “the incident” was taken out of context?
If you’re like me.. That sucks.. But it also means you can’t get enough Ron Artest…

If Ron can keep cutting these PSAs he should get a pass on any law he breaks. I can’t have this humor locked up.
