Adam Carolla pissed off Manny Pacquiao fans and the Filipino community when he called the boxer “illiterate” and a “fucking idiot” and dissed the Philippines during his podcast last week. Carolla offered an apology via Twitter but Filipino-Americans say it wasn’t good enough. You can listen to Carolla’s NSFW comments below.

“Pacquiao doesn’t believe, he says, he doesn’t give blood the month of a fight or a week before a fight because somehow it’s gonna weaken him and what have you.”

“I gotta tell you, if that was a white fighter and probably even a black fighter, if the black fighter was from Atlanta or somewhere like that, someone would go, ‘What the f**k are you talking about? Give your drop of blood. That’s not gonna make a difference.”

“But because he’s from the Philippines and because he’s prayin’ to chicken bones and stuff like that, everyone’s kinda like, ‘Well you gotta respect him for his belief system.’ No you don’t. He’s a f****n’ idiot.”

“They got this and sex tours, that’s all they have over there. Get your s**t together Philippines. Jesus Christ. I mean, again, it’s fine to be proud of your countrymen. But that’s it? That’s all you got?”

It doesn’t matter if the sex tours are in the Philippines or Thailand because Carolla’s not gonna be welcome anywhere past Hawaii. Pacquiao accepted Carolla’s apology and doesn’t want the story blown out of proportion. Does an online petition demanding an apology from Adam Carolla count as “blown out of proportion?” Not at all. Carolla should use the same forum for his apology that was used to rip Manny and the Philippines. Apologizing on Twitter was weak. Not as weak as Mike Greenberg apologizing for disparaging Martin Luther King Jr.’s name on “Mike and Mike” through a BS, late-night statement, but still weak.

Joey Porter of the Miami Dolphins has been talking trash with Brandon Marshall of the Denver Broncos all week, but he put the beef aside for a night to watch Barack Obama. Porter told Miami reporters that he was moved to tears by Obama’s victory and that he decided to stop the back and forth with Marshall.

‘My brother called me and said, “Do you understand what happened? Don’t even waste time with this guy [Marshall],’ ” Porter said.

“I’m not going to let Brandon Marshall mess with my day.”

Joey stuck to his resolution until a reporter asked him about Brandon Marshall’s comments stating Joey Porter dances in the club with his shirt off like a girl and “Popcorn muscles.”

”You might want to watch him,” Porter laughed. “Making comments about another man’s muscles — that’s not really what you want to do in a locker room.”

Barack Obama winning the election only inspired Joey Porter to stop arguing with Brandon Marshall for a few minutes. He didn’t say anything about giving Matt Jones a pass. Porter was asked about players being fined for hits that were called penalties during the game which naturally led the conversation to Jones.

”I’m still trying to figure out how a guy gets caught with cocaine in the car and he still plays the game,” Porter said. “Nothing happens to him. Nothing’s happened. They ain’t had no penalty or nothing. I’m trying to figure it out.”

Joey’s leading the NFL in sacks with 11.5, and the Dolphins are far from the joke that they were last year so why is Porter worried about Brandon Marshall and Matt Jones? He’s right about Jones and probably right about Marshall, but he should let his play do the talking. The numbers he’s putting up say all that needs to be said.

As soon as the Boston Celtics clinched the NBA championship I sent a text to one of my boys asking “How happy do you think Shaq is right now?” After listening to The Big Biggie’s latest, the answer to the question is “very”.. Even if Shaq is telling Stephen A. Smith that there’s no beef between himself and Kobe. The easiest way to tell that two people are getting along well is when one of them makes a diss track about the other.

Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant didn’t get along in Los Angeles for a number of reasons, but the straw that broke the Diesel’s back stemmed from Bryant’s 2003 arrest. Kobe made some comments to the police regarding Shaq’s handling of women on the side and of course those statements were leaked. It only took five years for Shaq to respond and I’m glad he did.

After spending several verses shredding Kobe apart for losing in the NBA playoffs, Shaq drops the line, “I’m a horse, Kobe ratted me out, that’s why I’m getting divorced.”

The line most likely references a comment Kobe made during his infamous 2003 rape case, when he told Colorado police that he “Should have done what Shaq does … Shaq would pay his women not to say anything.” The two became famously bitter rivals after the incident.

I thought Shaq and Kobe made up? I guess that deal is off.

The way I see it Kobe has two options of how to go back at Shaq.
