Several members of the Australian Olympic team were victims of drink spiking at a Beijing nightclub during the games in China. It is not believed that the Australians were targeted but on several different occasions Aussies became sick after drinking at China Doll.

There's been a lot of talk about how well Team USA conducted themselves while in Beijing. This basketball team respected its opponents unlike the failed squads from 2002, '04, and '06. Glen Saville of the Australian basketball team is telling a different story.

Australian Customs officials seized 150 bottles of steroids disguised as 'gay lube oil' thwarting a smuggling network's latest attempt at bringing the banned substances into the country. The bottles contained testosterone and deca durabolin and were found in Victoria, Western Australia, New South Wales, Queensland and South Australia.
