Former NFL player Tebucky Jones was involved in an altercation over the weekend in the lobby of the Mohegan Sun casino. Jones was arrested and charged with breach of peace, third-degree assault, and fourth-degree sexual assault after groping a woman and then fighting her boyfriend.
Melissa Rodriguez, the target of Tebucky Jones’ bump and run, doesn’t want Tebucky’s star status to get him out of the situation. Read the full story

Former NBA player Benoit Benjamin was arrested and charged with simple battery and resisting arrest following a domestic disturbance at his house Sunday afternoon. When police arrived at the scene they found a woman with visible swelling on her forehead, and a pissed off Benjamin. Read the full story

The downward spiral continues for former NBA player Isaiah Rider. He was once an explosive force in the league, but his f*** the world attitude ended up costing him his career. The NFL has crowned two different Super Bowl champions since the Steelers defeated the Seahawks in Super Bowl XL but the city of Seattle still hasn’t recovered. The Hawks’ fans are pissed about the suspicious calls by the refs and the terrible play of Jerramy Stevens. Knowing this, it’s probably not a good idea to wear Steelers gear and taunt a Seattle Seahawks fan that is also cooking your food.
That’s where a 37-year-old Kitsap, Washington man went wrong. He was warned about trash talking the cook but proceeded anyways. He probably thought he got the last word in until he opened his hamburger container and found a loogie. The man immediately told his daughter to stop eating, demanded a refund, and called the restaurant’s district manager. The police were called into the situation and learned that a 24-year-old restaurant employee was the culprit. Read the full story

A lot of attention is given to the off the field problems of athletes. Not enough attention is given to the men and women leading the athletes. I’m not skilled in mathematics but I bet if you broke down the ratio, you’d see that more coaches find themselves in trouble with the law than players. I did a quick google news search and was able to come up with five coaches that have been in trouble the last few days. Read the full story

The two lovely young ladies in the picture above are Patty Paniagua (L) and Katrina Johnson (R), and they’re student-athletes at Arizona Western College. Paniagua is a former All-American volleyball player for the school, and Johnson’s a redshirt sophomore basketball player. Apparently, when they’re not studying or playing ball the girls are kicking up dust. Patty and Katrina spent Monday night in jail after being hit with charges that were “misdemeanor in nature”.
