Tim Donaghy, aka The Gambling Ref, is out of jail after serving nearly 15 months for conspiracy to engage in wire fraud and transmitting betting information through interstate commerce in the tips-for-payoffs scheme. Donaghy plans to live near Sarasota, Florida and is looking to get into sales or marketing. And he still needs a publisher for his book. Read the full story

I can predict the future. Last week I said I would improve my record by two games and I ended up going 7-5. The sad thing is I was 5-1 at one point and then Sunday afternoon/Monday night happened and I fell apart. The Packers, Cardinals, Jags, and Saints stopped my roll and left my season mark at 57-49-1. I went 5-6-1 last week and picked beauties like Tampa Bay, Cleveland, and Oakland. They lost by a combined 104-10. I should barely be allowed to pick my own clothes let alone pick football games. Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield appeared on “The Oprah Winfrey Show” today in what was reportedly a love-fest between the biter and the bitten. Tyson didn’t apologize for taking a chunk of Evander’s ear in their 1997 rematch, and Holyfield told of biting his brothers as a kid. Read the full story
