That sound you heard Tuesday was millions of NFL fans simultaneously climaxing at the release of the 2008 NFL schedule. ESPN dedicated two hours to the schedule, and I won’t lie.. I probably watched 45 minutes of the show.. And yes it was the waste of time that you assumed it was.

The Philadelphia Eagles schedule was all that I was looking forward to (road trip to S.F. Oct. 12), but I couldn’t help but notice one thing in the new schedule.. The Green Bay Packers play four primetime games including the first and last Monday Night Football games.. So either the schedule was made 2 months ago or somebody knows Brett Favre is coming back.
