Adrian Peterson took the first handoff of the game 75 yards for a touchdown to prove the Minnesota Vikings did the right thing by bringing in Brett Favre. It’s only a preseason game, and Peterson did all of the work, but there’s some sorta law or ordinance that says you have to praise Brett Favre whenever possible.
That’s why they call him Purple Jesus. His speed makes it look like he’s walking on water while the defenders are running through a river. Regardless of who lines up under center, they better have AP in the backfield or Minnesota is going nowhere.
