The Minnesota Vikings were about to take their first loss until Brett Favre stepped out of a time machine and whipped the ball to Greg Lewis like it was 1998. I’m pretty sure you could hear the pants of 49ers coach Mike Singletary hitting the ground as soon as Lewis tapped his toes with the game-winner.
That was a huge comeback for Favre and the Vikings. Everybody in the Minnesota locker room will be behind Favre now, and they stole a win from a team that looks much improved from last year. Enjoy it while you can Vikings fans because there’s gonna be a game when Favre throws the game-winner to your opponent.
