The last time I typed about Brandon Stokley was when he had the miracle catch and clutch clock running against the Cincinnati Bengals. This mention isn’t as positive. Stokley felt he was interfered with on an attempted reception but the refs missed the call. Stokley let the back judge hear about it and then slapped the judge’s hand before being flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct and ejected from the game.
Stokley’s looking at a good sized fine; probably in the neighborhood of $15,000-$20,000. And with there being only one game left in the season I wouldn’t be surprised if Roger Goodell told Brandon to take the rest of the season off.
In reference to the “Brandon Stokley ejection”…if this is the worst that this football player does than we as fans have nothing to worry about! I have grown up with Brandon and watched him play football from 6th grade to now playing in the NFL. He is a very respected man in our community and I know he would never have “slapped” the officials hand in a disrespectful way. Maybe those officials should eject some of the other players in the NFL who show greater disrespect on and off the field…just sayin!
