The NBA fined Glen “Big Baby” Davis $25,000 for cussing at a Detroit Pistons fan Wednesday at Auburn Hills. The fan had been heckling Davis with calls of “fat boy” and “chubs”, so Big Baby offered his pacifier to quiet the fan’s mouth. Fans take too many liberties with athletes but a player has to know he can’t win by engaging them. They’ll get fined and Youtube’d. And honestly, how much could those comments have hurt Davis?
