Aaron Rodgers Doesn’t Like Tony Kornheiser, Tony Romo Comparisons

If you were hoping to see Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers and PTI co-host Tony Kornheiser sit down for a Sunday night conversation you can give up your dream. Rodgers joined Homer on ESPN Radio Milwaukee for an interview that covered football analysts, quarterback rankings and of course, where LeBron should sign. What comes across early and often is that Rodgers thinks Tony Kornheiser is terrible at life, and he feels he’s a better quarterback than Tony Romo.

You can listen to the 15+ minutes here or check out the highlights transcribed by Sports Radio Interviews. Here’s a little of Rodgers on TK:

“You know who was better than Tony Kornheiser? Dennis Miller was ten times better. Dennis Miller was a great comedian, but one of the worst Monday Night Football guys ever. And he was ten times better than Tony Kornheiser. His stuff was actually funny. Tony stuff wasn’t funny at all. He did no research. We’d sit in those production meetings and he would add absolutely nothing to the conversation. I’d be like, ‘What are we doing here? This is stupid.’… You get in there with Tony and he’s asking you all these dumb questions that have no application to the game you are playing or anything you are doing. He’s terrible… I don’t think he’s funny. I don’t think he’s insightful. I don’t think knows anything about sports.”

Rodgers went on to say Mike Tirico, Jon Gruden, Trent Dilfer and Ron Jaworski are all good by him even though Aaron didn’t agree with Jaws’ assessment of his fundamentals. He threw Marcellus Wiley in the terrible category with Kornheiser. The good news is Kornheiser handles being ripped very, very well so there’s zero percent chance he’ll have anything to say about Rodgers comments.. Yeah.

The interview started with the fellas talking about Donald Driver’s celebrity softball game. Here’s Aaron Rodgers going deep for the second time at the event:
