Jose Canseco Not Expected To Do Well At WSOP

It looks like Jose Canseco is turning to the poker tables in hopes of turning around his recent financial troubles. Knowing Jose, and knowing the way Jose plays poker, I’m willing to bet that Canseco has a better chance of pounding out 10 more books than making any money playing cards. The oddsmakers agree. Brett Favre Headed To The NFL On Fox?

Brett Favre may or may not be retired for real, but either way he’ll be involved with the NFL during the 2008-09 season. Curt Schilling’s Pimped Out HP Laptop

Curt Schilling of the Boston Red Sox has picked up a new toy which he can use to write 38 Pitches or play World of Warcraft. This HP laptop was designed by graffiti artist de la Vega, one of 9 artist picked by PC magazine to pimp out some computers for charity. Schilling is the first person to take one off the market, and I’m hoping A) he got this for his kids or B) it’s for him and he breaks this bad boy out in the Sox clubhouse and the boys let him have it.. Serena Williams Plots French Open Revenge

Dinara Safina knocked off Serena Williams on Friday at the German Open bringing Serena’s 17-match winning streak to an end. Serena talks about the loss on her website, and says it’s better to lose at the German Open than at Roland Garros.
